The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the National Stock Exchange (NSE), forex, money markets, oilseeds and copra markets will remain closed on Tuesday on account of "Muharram".
However, bullion, sugar, metal, cotton and grains will remain open as usual.
On Monday, the BSE Sensex closed at 27,860.38 while NSE Nifty ended at 8,324.15.
